Cork Harbour hosts two "Greyhounds of the Sea" on Wednesday the 8th June. TheMS Bremen, a 6752 tonne liner sails into North Custom Quay from 06.30hrs on Wednesday morning.
The liner, even though it can only accommodate 155 passengers, is 111m long and has its own hospital and helicopter deck
Magellan docks at the Deep Water Quay Cobh at approximately 12pm. She is considerably larger in size than that of the MS Bremen being double in length. The Magellan wieghs over 46,000 tonnes and can accommodate over 1250 passengers. Both liners cut through the water at over 15 knots.
